Down Under Cruise and Dive are proud to introduce their ultra modern, high speed, brand new reef day tour boat, Evolution, which arrived into port on 22 December 2015. The three-level, custom designed and built catamaran commenced daily reef trip operations on 30 December 2015, making it the newest addition to Cairns’ reef day tour fleet.
The lower deck has an air-conditioned interior section that features seating for up to 140 people with tables and large windows for excellent views while you eat your complimentary lunch. Grab drinks and snacks at the fully stocked bar and relax while you are treated to live entertainment. Level 1 is where you will gain access to bathroom amenities.
Water entry for divers aboard Evolution has never been easier, use the steps which submerge directly into the ocean, providing comfortable access for snorkellers and divers alike. The hydraulic dive platforms are the largest of any reef vessel for easy access in and out of the water.
With your own personal storage area we'll ensure you don't lose your hire equipment, with room for your flippers, mask and snorkel.
The air-conditioned middle deck has plenty of comfortable bench seats with tables and lots of windows to enjoy the views. This is where introductory divers receive their safety briefing.
The perfect option for a group of friends, a large family or corporate groups travelling to the Great Barrier Reef. Sun tan to your hearts content on the Level 2 deck fitted with soft material for added comfort while you relax in the sun. There's also a seating area at the front and rear of the boat so you can soak up the views from whatever direction you desire.
The Third level of Evolution boats a spacious seated and bean bag area with 360 degree views of it's beautiful reef surroundings.
